Kat Hing Wai

Kat Hing Wai was (and it's still existing nowadays) one of the walled villages, in one of the district of Hong Kong, inhabited by the Kam Tin of the Tang Clan, that tried to oppose resistance against the British Army when they obtained the isle of Hong Kong after winning the first Opium War. This is the historical event I've chosen for my 3500 words essay of Creative Writing. I finished it already, but I've got to perfect the Spanish translation (I wrote it first in English) and to correct some possibles mistakes in the English version as well. I'll upload them when both are fine.
The main character is a Japanese prisoner, Niwa Kusari, in the village of Kat Hing Wai, who is sent with the purpose of spying the British Army before they reach the village. The characters, except for the man that talks in the name of the British people at the end of the story, are invented. I also include in the story the moment in which the people of Kat Hing Wai welcome with hostility the British Commission, a true fact.
I wish I could have find a pic of the gates of the village, that the British Army then kept for themselves and returned to the Kam Tin many years later, to describe them, but I wasn't lucky enough and I didn't want to make them up.
